백화점 상품권은 전국 백화점에서 현금처럼 자유롭게 사용할 수 있어 생일, 명절, 어버이날 등 각종 기념일 선물로 인기가 많습니다. 소다기프트에서는 신세계, 롯데, 현대 등 유명 백화점 상품권을 모바일 상품권 형태로 선물할 수 있고, 이들은 항상 높은 판매 순위를 보이는 인기 상품이랍니다. 하지만 한국에서는 주로 지류(종이)상품권 형태로 많이 이용되다 보니 소다기프트에서 선물받는 백화점 모바일상품권을 생소하게 느낄 수 있습니다. 실제로 그 사용 방법에 대한 문의도 있었다고 하여, 이번에는 모바일 백화점 상품권 을 어떻게 사용하는지에 대해 자세히 알려드리고자 합니다.

With the rise of digital gift cards (gifticons), Shinsegae, Lotte, Hyundai and Galleria the 4 major department stores in Korea also offer them. However, since department store gifts cards were mainly gifted and used in the form of physical (paper) gift cards read on to find out how to redeem and use eGift cards from department stores!
모바일 백화점상품권은 한마디로 ‘지류상품권 교환권’ 이라고 생각하면 이해하기가 쉽습니다. 해당 백화점에 방문하여 전달받은 모바일상품권을 지류상품권으로 교환한 후에 사용할 수 있는 것이죠. 이 때, 백화점마다 모바일상품권을 지류상품권으로 교환하는 방법이 조금씩 다릅니다.
Unlike eGift cards where the recipient receives a specific product or value stored gift, department store eGift cards are used to redeem a physical (paper) gift card for store use. The recipient must visit the corresponding department store but the next step differs for each department store so find your store and check the details before gifting!
1. 신세계백화점 상품권 – 신세계백화점 내 상품권 교환처에 방문해 모바일상품권 바코드를 제시하면 지류 상품권으로 교환 받으실 수 있습니다.
유의사항 : 신세계백화점 모바일상품권은 ‘신세계백화점’에서만 지류상품권으로 교환이 가능하고 이마트에서는 교환이 불가능합니다. 마찬가지로 신세계이마트 모바일 상품권은 ‘이마트’에서만 지류상품권으로 교환이 가능합니다. 하지만 둘 다 동일한 신세계 상품권으로 교환받기 때문에 교환 후에는 장소에 관계없이 모든 신세계 상품권 제휴처에서 자유롭게 사용할 수 있습니다.
1. Shinsegae Department Store – The recipient must visit the customer service desk in a Shinsegae department store and present the barcode.
Tip: Please note that Shinsegae gift cards once redeemed are used both at the department store as well as E-mart but you can only redeem Shinsegae department store eGift cards at Shinsegae and Shinsegae Emart eGift cards at Emart.
2. 현대백화점 상품권 – 현대백화점 내 상품권 교환처에 방문해 모바일상품권과 선물을 받으신 핸드폰 번호를 제시하면 지류 상품권으로 교환 받으실 수 있습니다. (별도 바코드 불필요)
2. Hyundai Department Store – The recipient must visit the customer service desk in a Hyundai department store and present the mobile number the eGift card was gifted to (barcode not required).
3. 롯데백화점, 갤러리아백화점 상품권 – 문자 내에 적혀 있는 ARS 번호로 전화를 하면 문자로 바코드를 수령할 수 있습니다. 백화점 내 상품권 교환처에 방문해 해당 바코드를 제시하면 지류 상품권으로 교환 받으실 수 있습니다.
유의사항 : 롯데백화점 모바일상품권은 문자 내에 적혀 있는 ARS번호로 전화하여 바코드를 발급받은 후 롯데백화점 상품권 교환처에서 지류상품권으로 교환해 주셔야 합니다. 이 때, 바코드는 수령 당일에만 유효하므로 다른 날 교환을 원하는 경우에는 다시 ARS번호에 전화하여 바코드를 재발급 받아야 합니다.
3. Lotte and Galleria Department Store – The recipient must call customer service at the number listed in the eGift card and will receive a barcode that can be presented at the customer service desk for a physical gift card.
But please note that the barcode for Lotte is only valid for one day so you must redeem it the same day you receive the barcode. Or you can call the number again and receive a new valid barcode.
